NO Eating OR DRINKING FOR OVER 3 HOURS

Our clinic recommends that patients refrain from eating or drinking for at least three hours before receiving ketamine treatment. Why?

We WANT YOU SAFE

These side effects can cause stomach upsets. We want your stomach empty. We don’t want any contents of your stomach to get into your lungs and cause you to have difficulty breathing. Aspiration is a condition that can cause pneumonia and difficulty breathing. We recommend that you fast for no less than three hours before any ketamine injection treatments.

EACH KETAMINE CLINIC DOES IT VERY DIFFERENTLY

There are many ketamine clinics and physicians that operate in different ways, as you probably know. Ask the ketamine clinic where you are going to get your infusion.

We offer a wide range of pre-and post-infusion tips, which is a significant advantage over other ketamine clinics. To learn more, see How to Prepare for and Integrate from a Ketamine Infusion.

Send us a message if you have any questions or would like us to answer them. We might be able to write a blog and/or make a video!
